What a rare treat - a behind-the-scenes look at the Bluestone mythos, with a rare cameo by none other than BB14! Who is this man, shamed, hiding his inner tortured nature, juxtaposed against the compassion of his sole friend? How can BB14 reach out to this clock and convince him to reveal his true nature?

It's a story about friendship, and the litmus test of brotherhood that lets us discard our masks and reveal our true selves. This art is a metaphor for the human condition, what humans show themselves as - as opposed to what humans truly are deep within.

It's fascinating that once the true form is revealed, BB14 is rendered speechless, awash by the brilliant sight of something that had been foreshadowed (see his other works) but unveiled in a potent manner. Eyes burning bright, withholding the glory. At its' root this is what clocks and humans alike strive to achieve - a companion that accepts them for who they are, without reservation or dismay - a unequivocal brother or sister in these uncertain times to lean against and support us. This is a powerful message that takes a few views to resonate, but when it does, the message is impactful and delicate - like seeing the rays of the sun break through clouds after the rain. 5 stars
